1. What the platform is
“Arab Community Services” is an online directory that helps the Arabic-speaking community in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy find service providers who speak their language. The platform is an information intermediary only: we do not provide the services ourselves and we are not a party to any agreement or payment between a provider and a client.
2. Accepting these terms
By using the platform or creating an account you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Keep your information accurate and your password secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- We may review new accounts before activating them and suspend any account that breaks these terms.
4. Obligations of service providers
- You must be legally allowed to carry out your activity in your country of residence and hold the licences and insurance required for regulated professions (such as medicine, law and accountancy).
- Everything you publish or upload must be accurate, genuine and your own.
- The “Verified” badge means our team has seen professional documents you submitted. It is not a guarantee of the quality or outcome of your services.
5. Prohibited content
You may not publish misleading, illegal, abusive or discriminatory content, impersonate others, share other people’s personal data without permission, send spam, or offer any service prohibited by law.
6. Review and moderation
Our team reviews profiles, listings and documents before they are published or approved, and may accept, reject, suspend or feature them at its discretion. Every review decision is recorded in an internal log.
7. Disclaimer
The platform is an information intermediary only; any agreement, and responsibility for it, rests between the service provider and the client. We aim for accurate information but cannot guarantee it, and we are not liable for the quality or price of services or for any damage arising from dealings between users. Check qualifications yourself and never pay in advance before you are sure.
8. Contact between users
Contact happens by phone or WhatsApp, outside the platform. Those conversations are governed by the terms and policies of the services used.
9. Intellectual property
The platform’s design, texts and logo belong to its operator. Users keep the rights to the content they publish and allow us to display it on the platform for as long as it is published.
10. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account area. We may suspend or delete any account that breaks these terms or the law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time and will announce significant changes on the platform. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.
